Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Genjator's Ships! I've been wanting to put together a collection of ships that I have been making in a game called StarMade. If you haven't heard of it, it's a block-building construction game very similar to Minecraft, but set in space. It's still in alpha, but I've found it to be a rather fun game. If you haven't played either game, I recommend you check them both out. StarMade is still in alpha, so if you try it, don't expect a full working game, but a fun one nonetheless.

Anyway. So, I've always been a big fan of space-based stuffs, especially space combat and ship design. I've watched Star Trek since I was a little kid, and have become a Stargate fan in recent years. I'll spare you further details on my likes and interests, but to sum up, StarMade provides a fun way to build ships and then test them in combat. It also includes elements of mining and exploring, with more being developed. There is a growing community surrounding the game, with hundreds of designs of ships of all different types.

I wanted to share what I've been working on in a place where they could all be found with ease. So, I welcome you, and invite you to take a look and enjoy. If you see something you like, let me know, feel free to try it. I upload my ship blueprints to starmadeblueprints.com, so feel free to stop by there and take a look. I'll provide links in each ship description to the upload. Be sure to check out the other shipwrights who upload their stuffs there!

TSV Iceberg

The TSV Iceberg is a newer-model Perimeter Defense Patrol Frigate of the Terran Space Navy. Due to the increase number of pirate raids to shipping vessels and the ever-expanding reach of numerous corporations seeking to expand their influence and power amongst inter-planetary trading routes, the Navy was in need of a faster and more heavily armed ship to fill the role of general protection in-system. The Iceberg was designed with this in mind, built to take heavy punishment and deal it back against fighters and corvette-class ships. It was never designed to tackle capital-class vessels, leaving that to larger ships like the Matterhorn-class cruiser. Lacking a jump drive, it is limited to in-system patrols, although it may see deployment to other systems as new jump gate technology is implemented.

As a side note, it was the destruction of the TSV Iceberg that drew Earth and its protected planets into the conflict between the Calthrian Federation and the Maltran Empire. The Iceberg Incident, as it would later be known, would change mankind’s view of the galaxy and those they would discover in it.

Highland Refit

The Highland Refit is the result of significant upgrades to weapons, shields, armor, and major ship systems. The ship has been refitted with six Zealot-class anti-fighter turrets, a Halyx-class Beam cannon, upgraded forward cannons, a forward homing missile launcher, and several tractor beam emitters. It is meant to be handled by a crew of four during short to mid-length exploration and scouting missions. To assist with that endeavor, the shuttle has been upgraded to better meet the needs of the crew, and the two repair bots have been re-designed for better efficiency. Additionally, computer systems have been added to allow for shield strengthening, hull hardening, and additional thrust capacity.

TSV Matterhorn

The TSV Matterhorn is a recent cruiser launched by the Terran Space Navy. Outfitted with recent developments in weapon and defense technology, its primary role is that of patrolling the boarders of Terran space. Crewed by 80 personnel, the Matterhorn is a capable multi-role vessel. In addition to the crew, there are two complements of Space Marines aboard for boarding operations. Since the majority of enemy contacts tend to be raiders or pirates, the Marines get a lot of active duty time. While not the strongest vessel in space, the Matterhorn is more than capable of holding its own in almost any situation.

Hosting Location Change

Hey all, so for the last long while I've been uploading my ships to www.starmadeblueprints.com. Recently, it seems the site has gone down, as now that URL reroutes to a hosting website. I don't know what happened, though the owner of the site had mentioned that at one point it was looking like the site would go under due to lack of support and traffic. Perhaps this is what happened, I don't know.

Due to this unfortunate event, whatever the reason, I will now be uploading my ships to the StarMadeDock on the official StarMade site. I will continue to post updates here, and want to let you know that I will soon be uploading my newest ship here, the TSV Matterhorn. Thanks to everyone who has visited here!

Slow Work

Hey all, sorry for the recent lack of updates. Life has been busy, you know how it gets. I will say that I'm currently working on a new ship for a new faction, and have several other designs drawn out to work on down the road. It's a different design from anything I've done yet, and so it's constantly undergoing revisions and re-designs. If anyone visiting has any ideas or thoughts about what they've seen here, feel free to let me know, either here or at starmadeblueprints.com.

HIGHLAND

The Highland is a recently developed corvette-sized long-range exploration ship. Designed by the Haltachi Corporation, it is defended by six anti-fighter turrets and one medium-sized cannon, with enough shields to give it the time to either defeat or escape any attackers. Designed to be as efficient as possible, it operates with a crew of four, while providing as much comfort as possible.
The primary purpose of the Highland is to explore new regions of space, to discover what else exists and what other civilizations inhabit the cosmos.
Because the Haltachi Corporation is aligned with neither the Calthrian Federation or the Maltrin Empire, Highland-class vessels have been purchased by both sides and are frequently seen scouting new planets and sectors in search of supplies or base locations.
